Tantra Meditation Centre
Welcome Home My meditation is simple. It
does not require any complex practices. Any
male or Female who is somehow offended by the sight of a nude body,
“If you
can not find the truth right where you are now, "Throughout theological history we have been assured by religious leaders that if we perform certain rituals, repeat certain prayers or mantras, conform to certain patterns, suppress our desires, control our thoughts, sublimate our passions, limit our appetites and refrain from sexual indulgence, we shall, after sufficient torture of the mind and body, find something beyond this little life. And that is what millions of so-called religious people have done through the ages, either in isolation, going off into the desert or into the mountains or a cave or wandering from village to village with a begging bowl, or, in a group, joining a monastery, forcing their minds to conform to an established pattern. But a tortured mind, a broken mind, a mind which wants to escape from all turmoil, which has denied the outer world and been made dull through discipline and conformity - such a mind, however long it seeks, will find only according to its own distortion."K
The word Tantra is Sanskrit, the sacred language prior to Hinduism. It derives from the root word tan, which translates as "to extend, expand, spread, continue, spin out, weave; to put forth, show, or manifest." Like the universe we inhabit, Tantra is continually expanding, spreading, and manifesting itself like a "cosmic weave," made up of different energies. We are part of this weave, as are our forefathers and foremothers, all life, and every type of energy and matter. This includes thoughts, actions, and all physical matter
None of these views of Tantra are wrong outright,
but none really explain what Tantra actually is. So what is Tantra?
What does it mean? And, most
important of all, what is its relevance to us today?
By embracing Tantra,
we become more "real," more "complete." How?
By recognizing and stimulating our inherent sensual spirituality, we
discover parts of ourselves that have remained asleep or have been repressed.
With Tantra, an energy is released that is evolutionary and "upwardly
motivated." We can learn to use this energy for pleasure,
for achieving our worldly goals, and for aiding our spiritual
evolution.
Familiarity with Tantra can help a person to enjoy life to the fullest.
It can help do away with guilt or fear, break down self imposed or
limiting cultural boundaries, and guide us in our search for solutions.
Tantra
teaches us to become familiar with our mystical nature, and when we
do so, our boundaries expand. We enter into new domains of awareness.
We
become empowered, and more fulfilled, Tantra suggests
an enlightened form of selfishness. This is a form of loving the
self. We are the only one’s who really know what we
want from life and love – and as an adult, we are the only one’s
truly responsible for making sure that we get that! In doing
so, we have an overflowing bounty of loving energy from which
to give
to others.
We are thus no longer bound in any way by fear of lack in our
personal experience and we can give so much more freely with
joy! And if we
love ourselves well, we also have more centered and clear love
to share.
Spirituality Means Waking Up Discover the raw dynamic power of your own life force through
Tantric meditation. From there we move into activities that engage with the tantric circle of giving and receiving as one activity. This draws us deeper into the realm of the heart where the uniqueness of separation and oneness of unity co-exist. Practical, wild and fun, everyone is welcome, no previous experience needed.
"On the path you will meet many people who would like to cripple you, to cut you, to dissect you. They will say, "This hand is bad, cut it off! This eye is bad, throw it out! Anger is bad, hate is bad, sex is bad." They will go on cutting you, and by the time they have left you, you are simply paralyzed, a crippled one. You have no life left. That's how the whole civilization has become paralyzed and crippled" "TANTRA is indeed dangerous. It is a threat to all those belief systems and institutions that have "limited your potential", stolen your power and sought to "control" you through "guilt" and "fear". That’s why it’s been literally forced underground for thousands of years." still slightly under constuction :)
